MM Edinburgh Transfers is a private hire vehicle service operated by Marek Manka, licensed by the City of Edinburgh Council. Our contact details:

2. Bookings

All bookings are made online through our website and are only confirmed once full payment has been received. You will receive a confirmation email with your booking reference immediately after payment.

By completing a booking you confirm that:

  • All journey details provided are accurate
  • You are aged 18 or over
  • You accept these terms on behalf of all passengers in your party

3. Fares & Payment

All fares are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP). Fixed-price routes are guaranteed at the price shown at the time of booking. Custom route fares are estimates based on distance and duration — the quoted price is what you pay.

Payment is taken in full at the time of booking via our secure payment provider (Stripe). We accept all major credit and debit cards. No cash payments are accepted for pre-booked journeys.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Summary: Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup. Partial refund between 4–24 hours. No refund within 4 hours or for no-shows.

To cancel a booking, contact us by WhatsApp or email quoting your booking reference. The time of your message is used to determine which policy applies. Refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days.

5. Vehicle & Capacity

Our current vehicle is a Toyota Prius with a maximum capacity of 4 passengers and 2 large suitcases (plus small carry-on luggage). Bookings that exceed this capacity may be refused at the point of pickup without refund. If you are unsure whether your luggage will fit, please contact us before booking.

6. Passenger Responsibilities

  • Passengers must be ready at the agreed pickup location at the agreed time
  • The driver will wait up to 15 minutes for airport pickups (tracked via flight data) and up to 10 minutes for all other pickups before the booking is treated as a no-show
  • Passengers are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle during the journey
  • We reserve the right to refuse carriage to any passenger who is abusive, intoxicated, or poses a risk to the driver or vehicle
  • Seatbelts must be worn at all times

7. Flight Delays

For airport pickup bookings, we monitor your flight in real time. If your flight is delayed, we will adjust your pickup time accordingly at no extra charge. Please ensure your flight number is included in the booking notes.

8. Liability

MM Edinburgh Transfers carries full public liability insurance as required by our private hire licence. We are not liable for:

  • Delays caused by traffic, road closures, or circumstances beyond our control
  • Loss of earnings, missed flights, or consequential losses arising from delays
  • Items left in the vehicle (lost property will be held for 7 days — contact us to arrange return)

9. Privacy

We collect your name, phone number, email address, and journey details solely for the purpose of fulfilling your booking and communicating with you about it. We do not sell or share your data with third parties. Payment details are processed securely by Stripe and are never stored by us. 10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page. Bookings are governed by the terms in force at the time of booking.
